This is coming up because I was asked in a DM and I wanted to be transparent:
While I wholeheartedly support the GDPR (and related legislation), we aren't fully GDPR-compliant. While in all practical aspects our privacy is much better than GDPR requires (except for those goofy cookie banners), we don't maintain data about suspended users. Nor will we, for that matter. GDPR mandates that you have to allow users to extract all their data, even after their account has closed. On this system, once you delete your account, the information is effectively gone.
Furthermore, we're not based in EU in any way and not subject to the GDPR. That doesn't mean we won't comply with its spirit. We will! It's a great idea and I'm completely behind it. However, as a practical matter, GDPR doesn't affect this instance any more than legislation in China or Zimbabwe or Chile does, or more than US law applies to someone in Norway.
So the takeaway is that we're compliant as far as it makes sense, but aren't going to get bogged down in the details that don't actually make your activity here more secure or private.
