Saya no Uta is a visual novel for humanities rejects. It tells the story of creatures finding their place in a space where they never belonged.
I highly recommend that you read it. It has had a profound impact on me. I saw the reflection of my own experience, and the beauty of outsideness.
It does include sexually explicit content. Some releases have it patched out if you cannot handle such material. If you are okay with it, I recommend you read it with it enabled. The added shock factor enhances the experience.

waiting to die is fairly derivative of goreshits ambient breakcore, but is still one of the better active ambient breakcore artists. Multiple tracks on this album feature samples from the Saya no Uta OST, and features Saya on the cover~
After 17 years of silence, The Gerogerigegge released Moenai Hai. It has nothing to do with Saya no Uta, but these two art pieces have become inseperably linked in my mind. The second track is the most beautiful expression of despondence I have ever heard. The detail and depth of this project still leaves me feeling lost.
