An infant deer, tiny and still unsteady, appeared in my backyard yesterday. It was seemingly alone.
The mother was off to the side behind a tree with a second newborn.
This world is finite, yet within it, within the process of reproduction, we see an infinite potential. There is nothing so wonderous in creation as our ability to bring forth new life.
