Cafe log

A log of assorted cafes, tearooms, garden centres and the sort I've been to, typically with my grandparents.

These are all in the UK, East Yorkshire-ish area.

A specials board (limited time) item is denoted with 'Ⓢ'.

21-10-10 The Cottage Tearoom, Wetherby

This place sure has a lot of hot chocolates to choose from!

I just went with the plain one, without cream, as I was also having a millionaire's slice.

Originally I was (reluctantly) going to have a brownie, but seeing the name of the "biscoff caramel millionaire's shortbread" I was like wooo aah, that's going to be nice :DD

It was on the specials board though, so don't come here expecting it.

A semi-peaceful place, with a nice grass garden.

Over the wall you can see a very wide but sole-deep river moving fairly fast. Up-stream (hard to see from the tearoom) there are some ducks and a mini-waterfall thing under a bridge.

Some people were throwing rocks into the water.

This particular Sunday there was also a market in the town centre, I didn't get to visit it.
