Witness appeal after teenage girl hurt in Dublin crash

An appeal for witnesses has been issued after a teenage girl was seriously injured when she was struck by a van in Dublin on Wednesday.
The girl was on a scooter on Walkinstown Avenue in Dublin 12 when the incident occurred at around 6pm on 1 December.
She was taken to Children's Health Ireland at Crumlin, where she is being treated for serious injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses, particularly anyone travelling along Walkinstown Avenue on 1 December between 5.45pm and 6.30pm and who may have camera footage, including dash cam, to contact Crumlin Garda Station on 01 666 6200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
