Investigation into 'abusive' incident on Grafton Street
Friday, 26 Nov 2021 13:08
A garda investigation is under way after a man became abusive to staff at a business on Grafton Street in Dublin last Thursday.
Gardaí in Pearse Street are appealing for witnesses following the incident, in which a man, who was not wearing a face covering, behaved aggressively towards staff.
The man left the premises shortly after, but returned around ten minutes later, again becoming abusive to staff.
While leaving a final time, it is alleged the man attacked a member of the public, before walking in the direction of College Green.
Gardaí wish to speak to the man, as well as anyone who was in the Grafton Street area between 3.55pm and 4.25pm on Thursday 18 November.
A garda spokesperson said that no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí can be contacted at Pearse Street Garda Station on 01 666 9000.
