Mood: not that good, I'm very bored of pandemic. I haven't the chance to spend time with another human at the exception of my family for one day a few months ago and the person I live with.

Bike

I did not really ride my bike except very small trips, for weeks.

Videos games

I found 3Ds games "Miitopia" and "Yo-kai Watch 2" quite cheap on a second hand sell. I already tried the demo of Miitopia and it was so absurd and fun to play I had to play the whole game, it's not hard, the gameplay is limited but it's so ridiculous that I really enjoy it. As for Yo-kay Watch, I've read it was an excellent game despite it looks childish and a clone of pokemon, I'll make my own opinion about it.

Still playing VR games, it's an incredible technology. The wire connecting the headset is really cumbersome, I guess that the future of VR headset is wireless, there are already steps in that direction. At least, a thinner cable would be appreciable because it's a huge cable with 3 plugs on the computer side (usb, power and display port) and it even embbed a torque sensor to warn you if you twist it too much!

Still playing games on Switch too, Monster Hunter :)

IT

I found a nice audio player, musikcube, I made a port for OpenBSD so I can use it now. OpenBSD 6.9 should be released very soon so it won't make it for this release but I'm confident it will be available for 7.0.

I played a lot of p2p technologies, I found ZeroNet was working very well on OpenBSD, unfortunately the network is full of bad actors and it's complicated to moderate this because this mean EVERYONE need to moderate on their side. I really prefer the Scuttlebutt Network in which you only read people you will follow, so it's an opt-in network instead of opt-out, this make it very manageable and enjoyable.

I ported gnunet to OpenBSD because many people told me how nice it is, unfortunately it's complicated to use and the network seems quite empty, I'll continue experiments.

The IPFS node for OpenBSD packages is ready to use. Let's have fun.
