This is my personal log, I may update it multiple times in the day.
I published a new article on my tech blog today! :)
This is the first real day for the nextcloud Gemini experiment :) I will try to open it to a few people to see how it goes.
Porcelain: a Gemini client in Perl featuring OpenBSD pledge/unveil for maximum security
I plan to write an article about the nginx stream module, on my server I replaced relayd by nginx as a front for vger. I have now 2 vger servers running and relayd wasn't able to serve both using the same certificate on different ports, that seems a weird use case but it fails to load certificates. Bonus, with nginx I have very nice logs allowing me to see how much bytes transferred / received and the TCP session duration. More data! :)
With all the stats gathered, I can easily find which IP are doing a lot of traffic and only connecting without doing any gemini request and blocking them in the firewall from an awk script on logs :D
It's quite shiny but also some wind here, I may ride my bike a bit today but because of curfew I can only ride during my lunch time which isn't great for longer trips. I'll mostly go to a bakery to buy a sandwich :)
It's spring!
I tried a nextcloud update on the server to see if it could go in on OpenBSD ports and everything seems fine so far! :)
I received by post mail the Switch game « Zelda Link awakening » I bought second hand from someone. I never played the Game boy version and I've read the remake was fine so I'll see. I am not really a Zelda person, I played Ocarina of Time on Nintendo 64 and Majora's mask (with a paper walkthrough) but no other Zelda, except Breath of the Wild that I didn't enjoy because I don't enjoy Open world.
The game is really fun, I showed the game to someone who play the original Game Boy game and he told me it's really similar, so I'm really happy they kept the real game but making it only modern.
On my blog (which is technical and not really related to this really personal capsule) I shared about my bike setup:
