I've spent 3 golden hours (45 min of work plus 15 min break) on new portfolio website. I also did some work on second project, the big one, that is about interactive web 3D creator of company products. Two or three more golden hours and I will show progress to client.
Regarding my idea of small C software as a replacement of CMS. In this specific case it will be wise to first create prototype in form of shell script. Actually this may be all that is needed.
We already have domain for new portfolio "amandawalaszek.com". Its not yet hooked to anything. But first draft of a website will be there very soon.
This small project is yet another chance to proof that modern websites can be done with minimal effort, no libraries and frameworks. It will be faster and lighter then reactive web. It's not that web technology is trash. Only that majority of developers fallow "hype driven development" style of programming. This makes source code of web product obsolete in 1 year time or even faster. Shame.
