2 Cold 4 Me

A Look at the Weather

Today my fiancee and I are going to be attending a youth event in a larger city close to us. I volunteered to drive because I really just wanted to tag along because it sounded fun. We are going snow tubing! I've never done it before, only water tubing! So I'm excited! Except for the fact that the high today is 4 degrees Fahrenheit and the low is -7 degrees Fahrenheit... that's not including wind chill. After literally living with this weather all my life, you'd think I would get used to it... nope.

Is this real life?

After working out at the gym with my Fiancee and a couple friends, we were on our way to drop them off when we saw police cars. We decided to check it out and see what was going on. After approaching we saw that there were several officers surrounding a van, and then out jumped a young man in a blue sweatshirt. He started sprinting away form the police and eventaually got right next to our vehicle. He looked right at me as if he wanted help. Of course, I didn't help him because there was probably something he did that made the cops come after him like this. I heard an officer yell at me saying "GO GO GO"! So floored my car to move forward and get away from whoever they were trying to catch. And then the cops finally caught him and arrested him. So yeah, it was a really exciting day already xD

Word of the day: Booger

A fun, cold, youth trip!

I spent the last part of my evening and night traveling to a near by town to go snow tubing down a hill with my church's youth group! It was extremely cold, my fiancee and I only went down about 4 times and then hung out at the lodge for the rest of the time. The food was great and I think the kids had a great time! There was a beautiful sunset that happened while we were at the top of the hill! We were able to get a few good pictures of it! Hope you have a blessed day!

See ya!
