It was announced on Thursday morning that Brooks would play three extra dates at the GAA stadium in 2022, following the previous two that had been confirmed.
In response to the news, an excited Brooks tweeted to his Irish fans: "Just waking up to the news!!!!

On Thursday morning, tickets went on sale for his planned two concerts at Croke Park on September 9 and 10.
Within 40 minutes, an extra date was added, Sunday, September 11, due to phenomenal demand.
At 10am, a further two dates were announced which will take place on Friday September 16 and Saturday 17.

Tickets went on sale immediately and demand could see all five concerts sell out.
The country star had originally been granted permission for three concerts as part of the stadium's planning permission for three music events a year.
In early November, an event licence was granted by the city council for two more dates following a planning procedure involving public consultation.

Separately, Ed Sheeran was given an event licence for two additional concerts at the GAA headquarters in April next year.
Brooks was famously denied licenses to play five shows in the venue back in 2014.
Speaking in Dublin ahead of the tickets going on sale he said he would love it to play the five but that what happened in 2014 - selling 400,000 tickets in one city - was a "miracle", and it would be impossible to do that again.

He joked to RTΓ News: "I'd love to do five, but I'd also love to be 6'5" and have abs."
"If there is a blessing in that curse of what happened in 2014, it's the fact that there is a chance that this artist, and those people that were sweet enough to get those tickets before, now have a chance to hopefully see each other again," he added.
"It's the greatest privilege and the greatest joy an artist can have to play Ireland. It's the greatest heartache to be told you can't."
