I never thought there would come a day that I would give an album a 10. I have always thought that my personal idea of perfection is a goal that can only be pursued but not achieved. That there's always something missing or that something would irk me while listening to it as a whole.
Feedbacker is a complete work. It is succinct and requires little to nothing more. Somehow, this album represents my personal idea of perfection.
The funny thing is prior to this I've never listened to any drone metal, or anything metal to that regard. But the raw emotion and how dynamic this whole album is just sells it for me.
It feels big and wide at the start, builds up and almost becomes to be as close to your ear as possible and then leaves you back to where you started. It brought you to a journey and returned you home.
An unbridled experience. I might yearn for the day that I could listen to this piece for the first time again and recall the smile that it brought to my face when I realized that it's something really special.
