Ariel was the best. Fearless. Hopped and bopped through our three hour hike in skinny jeans and holey Vans. Not even a bag. We hung out twice, once in Madison and then in Lake Geneva. Neither were our homes. Madison was a lot of walking, a lot of him in front of me clearing the way. At the end of the night, I realized I couldn't clearly picture his face. Lake Geneva was slow, muggy, facing each other in the water. This time I remembered everything. But I wish I got a video of him speaking, because I'm not good at remembering voices.
