I finally got everything configured for me to use my m500 with my framework laptop. I'm using Kelbot's daily digest script (with some light modification) to pull down some data to sync data to the palm. I picked up a sipix a6 pocket printer, and I'm trying to figure out exactly how I'm going to work that in to my routine.
Right now, I'm using the Palm Infrared wireless keyboard to type this. If I remember, I'll include a photo.
I love using the m500 as a newsreder. Held in landscape, it is the perfect size for my hands, and displays a comfortable amount of text, and I'm playing with several options to currate texts to stick on to the device from various sources.
Kelbot suggested Wallabag, which I might try. I'm also considering trying to set up some kind of email program and a dedicated address for high value comms + some support scripts.
Or I might try and fiddle with plucker again. That's what I used to use, way back when.
And I need push some ebooks over, I think.
Anyway, this seems like a decent little setup for mobile blogging, and I should be able to do some automation to get it up to gemini or my website without too many steps.
Now let's see how it prints.
