Even though Thanksgiving was last week, I don't mind seeing this guy in my Advent box. I'm still polishing off the leftover mashed potatoes in my fridge, and there's plenty of time left in the month for Christmas themed beers later on.
City Built is a local brewery in downtown Grand Rapids. I've only been there once, but I recall that there were a ton of kids running around I had some great Puerto Rican food.
This beer has a bright, orange redish color with lots of visible carbonation. The appearance makes me think of something like a sparkling wine. There is no strong smell.
The taste is like an incredibly tart version of Ocean Spray cranberry juice. So tart that I'm around half way finished and my mouth has started to salivate. My taste buds are fried.
No, this isn't a style of beer that I would ever pick out at the store.
Ideally zero, but I'll power through this one because it's a sin to waste beer.
