And it was because the database become big and stat computations timed out. -- I can heartbeat a service or poll for the presence of something. But to me, it's really problematic to 1) always be alert and think about your future dependence on the presence of things you roll out or create 2) maintain alerts, meaning to remove ones that are not relevant anymore, to keep noise/signal ration low (review noise, disguised as alerts, is tiring)
