Today was quite an interesting day. I've been fiddling with the source code of firefox for Android. Was able to customize some colorschemes and some minor changes to the interface. What I found interesting is that, on a configuration file/dex file, I tried removing the location service url, and installing the app after recompiling leads to an instant crash. I found this quite disturbing. But, then again, maybe I could be missing something here, maybe configuring some variables later on would lead to a successful removal of the location service trackers. But for now, reinstated the location service to its original place. Need to figure out how to get rid of telemetries ^_^
On the other hand, tried decompiling chrome for android, and couldn't even decompile, which makes me want to love open-source more. The freedom to edit an app, it's a grace. Love and support open-source. Yeah that's the motto.
