The Skeletool CX is a great compromise multi-tool. You get a good knife, decent pliers, and 4 screwdrivers (2 x 2 sided leatherman bits) in a fairly slim and lightweight package. The knife is conveniently easy to open with one hand. This knife typically in my pocket around the house and on weekends and it always surprises me how often I have occassion to use it.

I've been carrying one of these on my keychain for years. It has never leaked or failed. It's a very clever EDC pen design. It comes with one of those great Space Pen-style pressurized ink cartridges (write anywhere at any angle), and can be used in two configurations (quick & short, or long & comfortable). I use this pen all the time!
Always a staple of my keychain. It's always handy having a small knife, flat screwdriver, scissors, and tweezers wherever I go (especially with the kids). This is a classic design and they last forever. I love these knives.
