Note Paper

I prefer writing notes on paper, rather than typing into a computer.

It is way less distracting
I like the process. I like paper and pens.
The optics are better (it doesn't look like I'm messing around with a computer)
It's more flexible (I can add little drawings, highlighting, arrows, etc.)

However...

I don't like using fixed notebooks:

They are too rigid
Every meeting I write a title and date, only to find out that nothing interesting came out of the meeting and I've got this fragment cluttering up my notebook
It's hard to tear out garbage pages
I can't rearrange things based on project
The page format never feels quite right
It's hard to digitize. I like to scan by notes and notebooks don't photograph well (the spine messes it all up).

I prefer a thin 1/2" binder and paper because I can tear out useless pages, archive irrelevant content, rearrange things, etc. But... I don't like using off-the-shelf lined paper:

The lines are just so big. I like dense pages danggit!
I want some out-of-the-box structure on my notes (like list of todo items)

So... I made my own paper with a nice clear place for a title, a "important stuff" side-bar, a TL;DR; section, and a list of take-away todo items.

It's really nothing particularly interesting, but I really like it. I figured I'd post it for anyone else with similar opinions. (although really mostly so that I wouldn't lose my template files)
