I'm a witch.
Specifically, I'm a skeptical atheist pagan with animist leanings. I don't believe in the supernatural (though I try to keep an open mind), but instead use pagan rituals to clear my mind, ground myself, and improve my mental health. (Some people, whether disparagingly or fondly, might call this "ritualized self-care with a spoopy aesthetic".)
But saying "I'm a witch" is quicker. And catchier.
This section of my capsule is for anything witchy -- spells, sigils, potions, what have you. Consider it my grimoire on Geminispace -- my Gemoire.
Yeah, and?
Imbue a crystal with energy or create moon water.
Magic can't cure burns, but it can help soothe the pain.
I'm still a witch. I'm not a warlock; warlocks are something different, and a lot of witches will be insulted if you call them one. (I don't have much of an opinion on this other than "that's not what I am".)
And I'm not a wizard, either. I know the dichotomy existed before J. K. Rowling, but her poorly-written books are what I blame for the modern belief that "men are wizards, women are witches".
"Witch" is gender-neutral. Just as women can be authors and actors, men can be witches.
