Hello Gemini net! This is my first ever blog entry and programming attempt on any language. I have been a hardware guy my entire life and dabbled with HTML back in my teenage years doing raw HTML updates to tripod, geocities, and angelfire sites I had made and then quickly abandoned due to boredom or lack of direction.
I had a long work week doing my primary job as a diesel technician, and spent an entire day of my two days off sleeping and watching YouTube. I had always watched Luke Smith's videos just as either background noise or learning linux, or how to configure his LARBS for Arch or Void.
On a whim I visited his site and had saved some YouTube videos relating to hosting your own website. I figured this would be a fun, cheap hobby to kill some time and learn something new.
I was having issues using certbot, while following his instructions on the main CAA config of the Landchad site. I remembered seeing his Gemini post and i decided to give it a shot after browsing the Gemini space using Lagrange.
This blog is going to be following my discoveries and findings while using Gemini. Already this is way more simple, way less data intensive compared to the HTML that I remember. This site will be entirely updated using nano on Terminal via OSX, to keep with the Gemini theme of low overhead.
