How long must I despair before we're met again?
If you are to decease, I'll weep forever then.
But,
what lies in one's due path is never truly known.
We all will find our truth in our time and in our turn.
But,
how I do wish you'd ease my quaere restless soul.
The dark of day and dread of waking,
waking alone and scared.
This is the first in a series of poems I am writing exploring love and
loss in a time of war. Soon I'd like to record an album in which my poems
appear as lyrics.
