This is a personal log :)
This capsule is now linked from my main gemini blog.
It seems fine today but we had cloud for the rest of the day.
This morning I notice a nice few requests for my latest blog publication, this may be that people in the morning saw my Mastodon toot and used the gemini link to read the content. This is pure speculation of course :)
My gemini server Vger reports "request too long" a few times in my logs but looking at the code, it seems there are no request at all so the fgets() fails but not because it didn't read all the buffer but it didn't read anything at all. Some changes are required to distinguish between too long and nothing at all.
Cool feedback from readers, I also have more logs to play with for my own platform.
I had a cool idea to write a C program for OpenBSD that would be run from inetd receiving connections from a pf rules with a rdr-to, the point would be to block IP connecting to common ports that we are not used. This would be an easy honeypot to produce block list of scanners. I love inetd because I don't have to care about the sockets or the life of the code, it does one job and ends. As far as I know, we have no tool in port for this job. I found an name and made a repo.
I watched the last "The Next Generation" episode, what a blast! Still three movies to go and the team team
