I have had very quickly a computer, for professionnal reasons because I was self-employed.
One of the first IBM, with 2 5 1/4 floppies.
I had worked on a mainframe with UCSD pascal, so the arrival of Turbo Pascal was a godsent.
For a long time I did everything in Pascal, until I switched from DOS to OS/2 where I used Rexx and C.
In 1991 (?), I discovered Linux with the SLS distribution.
Soon I switched to slackware, because it was closer to the solaris I was used to (and also working on).
I also used RedHat before discovering Debian (potato) and I sticked to it ever since.
I also programmed the psion (16), in C, C++, perl, python, and now most of the time in bash.
I also wrote in javascript/java/html/css.
