2020/1106/1700 — Namitjira & Bald Hills parks

Slightly different direction this afternoon, visit a few parks to the south-east. Namitjira reserve has a large wetlands area then Bald hills park more of a grassy space with thickets of scrub.

Larger wetlands birds in Namitjira; a couple of Little Pied cormorants[1] on tree stumps and fishing, swamphens[2] stalking through the rushes, coot[3] paddling about honking. Seagulls[4] all around too. Over in Bald Hills park all I saw was the ubiquitous Noisy miners[5] and Red wattlebirds[6].
