Would You Build Your Own Smart Watch If You Could?

03-07-2021

I'd like to do something like this. I have many ESP32's lying around doing

nothing, however, I've never built anything this small before, as pictured, this

thing is most elegant. It's just too bad that the corrupt politicians in our

respective governments have succeeded in making sure that we'll have to shop in

China to get our spare parts or we could probably build these things more

quickly and sort them out. I miss the good old days when I could go to Radio

Shack and get my parts. One would think that in the 21'st century, it would be

easier to get parts to make innovative strides, just like in the past. Somebody

must think that, that, would be a bad idea.

Also, if one's interested in smart watches, The people at Pine64 also offers the

pine watch, I think that's what it's called, it may be an interesting project

too. It's too bad I have to shop in China for it though, because the shipping,

handling and time is just unacceptable. Anyhow, here's the link to the pine

watch below.
