This is basically a somewhat random response to a couple things I read on other gemlogs. I actually read them a little while ago and didn't bother to save them for reference or anything, but one user writes about being confronted with old age. I'm only 34, but I can relate to that. Aging is a long process, and at times you realize things aren't what they used to be. It's an uncomfortable thing to be confronted with, especially me who always had an overwhelming fear of death. When I was younger I also used to never worry about getting sick, but now I fear that too, especially now that I consider it an inevitability. Anyway, I just hope that I don't suffer too much.
Another user writes about how they hope Gemini doesn't become "hip", like people trying to make it cool or popular I guess, or pull the community away from the Gemini philosophy. My opinion is that the Gemini philosophy really governs the protocol and the software, and really what we're building is content-agnostic. So, I think any/all content is welcome in Gemini Space, as there's room for everyone. You can never have too much content, right?
That being said, I do think there is some kind of underlying culture of Gemini, since a lot of us are programmers and have some similar ideas about digital lifestyle and whatnot. Not everyone has to be like us, though. I welcome non-technical folks, and maybe some people like being hyperconnected... maybe they can gemlog about their snap chats or tweets or something.
