🌳 The Zen of Rural B-roll

I’m trying to build my creative confidence with film-making. To do this I’m setting the bar low so that I can’t fail 😉 This project is about capturing moments in nature. It forces me to slow down and notice my surroundings. And to stop altogether almost in meditation while filming.

This project has already been a journey from:

• Idea to reality
• Unlisted videos to public videos
• Automatic titles to written titles
• Private playlist to sharing with friends to sharing here
• Mostly 10-20secs to varied lengths including >1hr
• Handheld camera to small tripod for longer clips and back to handheld where possible as it gives a clearer feeling of presence in the moment
• Internal iPhone mic to external mic to improve sound quality
• Building a small library of film to use in other projects is already proving useful.
