We open the game with a view of a building, and speedily the view goes faster
and higher until we see Megaman! The music goes along with this as well,
prepping you for the actual game. That's when I knew that this game
was going to rock!
Compared to the original, the boss selection screen now has confront 8
robot masters! 6 was too little in the original, and not to mention
you had to fight the cheap Yellow Devil in Wily's Castle. Tough
stuff!
This game, in comparision, is much easier and doesn't actively seek
to ruin the player, or shorten the time period. Also, the music
is beyond compare to the first one! Granted, nearly all of Megaman's
music in his games are amazing, minus the first 4 original Gameboy
ones, but most people remember this one.
Excepting the 3rd or 4th Wily Stage in this one(Also known as Purple Hell),
this game is an absolute blast to play and a masterpiece in the series.
Now, say you wanna play this one for the first time? I would recommend
the Mega Man Collection on PS4 or PC with a good gamepad that has a
dpad that actually WORKS. So if you're using PC, get an 8bitdo or
use a PS4/PS5 controller's dpad. You'll thank me later!
Over and out!
