Working at Babbage's not long after 3.11 it seemed to me that OS/2 felt so dead, at least in retail. Still wish I had tried it back in the day.
A hard backward compatibility break yet with emulation is a common tactic in consoles and Mac now. And they do seem to leapfrog one another more often.
