A cool late afternoon ride mostly around side streets in the local suburb, barely anything jumped out and made itself known. A pair of Little ravens[1] digging for worms on a lawn were being mobbed by a Noisy miner[2], then later I passed a pair of Crested pigeons[3] gorging themselves on new sown lawn seed where part of a lawn had been dug up for pipe works. The pigeons were strutting around with that clockwork pigeon-walk, anthropomorphically looking very pleased with themselves at finding all this grass seed specially put out for them to eat.
