Ok, back in the swing of things, here we are, two days in a row! Lets see if I can make it a habit and stay comitted after yesterday[1]'s restart.
A hot day, overcast; dry, dusty and windy. Completely wrong weather for any sort of self-respecting wildlife to be out and about. Even my choice of afternoon ride didn't help, up to the Djerring trail to Caulfield, then around and through the suburbs to back home. Only noticeable wildlife was the large & robust, able to hold their own in the temperature and against the wind. Little ravens[2] single and in pairs hovering against the wind, a few magpie[3] up in the wires, then closer to home the inevitable Common myna[4] making a noise and being pests.
