We're staying at Lorne for a few days and walking down the hill to a coffee shop each morning. Today on the way out, at the bottom of the driveway was a big pile of Kookaburra[1] tail and wing feathers, we're not sure what happened — I suspect either a predator or possibly hit by a car. Then on a later walk I realised that they were accompanied by a breastbone, some ribs and various other bits of carcase. I wonder what it was?
