I quickly wrote a python script that does all publishing automation steps for my setup. In two dozen lines I was able to fit integration with ssh and Dropbox, plus conversion from Markdown using the module I made earlier this month.
It was easier than I expected, but in it’s current state it’s useless for others. Some paths are hardcoded, and support for services that can be used to deliver content is very limited. On the other hand writing this script was so easy that I started doubting that it needs to be published at all. Any person with basic knowledge of a scripting language can do it in half an hour.
