Mini update

SecretShop 1.1.0 was released today for those of you who read this site but don't follow me anywhere else.

(In which case, how did you even find this?)

It's pretty small update to just stay up-to-date with the spec. The main changes are:

So yeah, nothing too exciting. Regardless, release tarballs are on my git and OBS will spit out OpenSuse packages soon enough.

Personal

As a brief status report on me, I've been busy at work trying to get our new student helpdesk workers up to snuff.

As usual, none of them really know too much about SysAdmining to begin with; I think I can count on one hand how many undergrads running Linux I knew in college and post-college work combined.

Still, they seem to be good kids so I'm looking forward beating them into someone you'd trust a server to.

I've also been fighting with our rickety old tape backup system, trying to get the robot to recalibrate. The ends up with me running back and forth between campus and my apartment every other day.

Otherwise, just those two things combined with the stress of trying to move in such *trying times* and tweaking my Matrix setup has resulted in me not having the time or energy to keep up to date with the explosion of Gemini work that's been happening. Certainly fun to watch my Mailinglists.Gemini folder read double digits on a daily basis though.
