I don't understand what is happening here.
The participants in the trial have to submit swabs on a regular basis? ANd they are swabbing friends and famiy and submitting this instead of their own?
Why?
Presumably if your swab comes back as positive for the virus you'll be notified. It seems to me someone could pseudo test a friend or family member by sending their swab instead.
I wonder if there's some financial compensation involved - if yes and too many people applied, the lucky winners may be outsourcing to others (some of whom have been exposed).
