My kids really enjoyed _The Hungry Caterpillar_ and _Puppy Peek-a-Boo_. That was when they were too young to have preferences or choose their own books.

Adults at a loss for something to read might choose to read the classics. They’re called classics for a reason.

Here are two recommendations off of the beaten HN path. I've recently enjoyed Lenin's Embalmers and The Abraham Dilemma.

Lenin's Embalmers is an autobiography of the son of a lead scientist on the Soviet team that preserved Lenin's body.

The Abraham Dilemma focuses on getting clearer on what is meant by religious delusion that is more than just a reduction to neuroscience.
