I've finally gotten awk to parse the URLs correctly, plus now the mainscript is written in rc! Note: you will have to run sudo or doas infront of make. User input, actually parsing through the responseheader, TOFU authentication, and client-side certificates are still inthe works. But now you can actually click on links and have them goplaces.
