Some pages I made look fine in my terminal but all wrong through the web proxies. Need get to grips with the 3 backticks, I think I have it figured out.
Learning about backlinks:
If I reply to something then I should make a link to it so when I replied to the 5 Christina questions I should have made a link on that page back to the questions:
gemini://gus.guru/backlinks?gemini.circumlunar.space/users/christina/
So my thoughts on layout. I want it just oddball enough.
I'm thinking of calling my pages 'epistles'. I'll use molly and mollyhead dotfiles to take charge of the indexing.
I'm toying with ascii art 'banners' at the top of my epistles.
Index will have newest epistles at the bottom
and it will be raw filenames. That will be my style for now.
Hope to use .epistle as the suffix instead of .gmi, using .molly
there is a line in .molly
GeminiExt = "gmi"
want to try
GeminiExt = "epistle"
A factoid from the web :
/ / / You could theoretically create a file that has one character in file name, a dot and 253 characters long extension / / /
That would be quite eccentric.
Anyway I use this capsule on the circumlunar mothership rather than a server of my own and I think it's reliable.
If I lose interest ~ or my life ~ I'll just leave this as a ghost site.
God protext us all.
