I assumed that this post was a suggestion for an interesting idea whichsome client authors might care to discuss and experiment with, takingadvantage of the fact that content display is left to the client'sdiscretion in Gemini. In which case, I'm all in favour ofexperimentation and diversity and user choice on that front.Multi-column rendering on wide screens certainly doesn't sound like abad idea, to me.

If it was a suggestion that we put something like this into the spec,them I'm opposed and it's not happening. Clients can do what they like.
