I flip flop between using Google Docs and Microsoft Word to write my stories. I currently use Google Docs when I'm writing a very intense story (i.e. one that needs a lot of planning) or a story that for one reason or another I know I won't be able to finish writing in one sitting.
For story planning, I usually use a program called Manuskript. It helps with both plot planning, character management, and general story writing. It's quite useful and a lot of my stories have found their homes in Manuskript. Have I finished any of those stories? No, but that has nothing to do with Manuskript. It's quite a nice program.
For a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), I primarily use PreSonus's Studio One 4 Artist program to mix my tracks. It came free with the interface that I got, and it works nicely. I use Ableton Live 9 Intro when I perform live. For mastering my tracks, I use either Studio One or Adobe Audition. It depends on how I'm feeling when I master, but it's been more Audition than Studio One recently.
For writing my music, I usually use Google Docs to save my chord charts. I'm also in the process of trying to put all of my original music into actual musical notation using MuseScore.
For film, I edit with Adobe Premiere Pro and I use Adobe After Effects for effects (which I don't really use that often but I did take a class on that). I've been mostly using my phone, but I've worked with a Canon 5D, a Canon 7D, a Canon XC15, and a Canon EOS 80D to name a few. I've also worked a little in Final Cut Pro X during a Film Workshop where I worked as a Gaffer, Foley Artist, and Sound Editor.
My computer in general is self-built. My CPU is an 8th generation Intel i7 processor. My GPU is an RTX 2070 Founders Edition card. I have 16 GB of DDR4 RAM. For recording my Nintendo Switch (or anything else that outputs HDMI), I use a Razer Ripsaw HD capture card. My mouse is a Logitech M100 mouse and my keyboard is an SK64 Gateron Red Switch 60% mechanical keyboard.
