I'm a self-taught software developer who works at a major consulting firm. I work mainly with Microsoft and Oracle tech, for my sins. However, I also have a strong sideline in Unix, Linux, and FOSS.
My public repositories are hosted by Drew DeVault's SourceHut. I've been a paying customer from day one even though he still thinks his services is in "alpha" status. It's that solid.
I've been using Linux and BSD on my personal computers since 1999. I currently run OpenBSD at home, and have the honor of running a little FreeBSD pubnix (public-access Unix system) at tanelorn.city.
