Perhaps in this phase of the definition of Gemini, we should think of
a potential user as our "significant others". Perhaps users who have
an inclination to write and share their thoughts outside of the highly
commercialised mainstream web. But certainly not an assumption they
know what ssh, sftp or running your own linux server.
What would these users need to assist them?
I'm bullish on native apps for this, which is part of why I'm not sosold on the various editing/submission proposals. It really shouldn't bethat hard to wrap some existing tools like rsync+ssh behind a cutenative UI and provide a nice mobile editing experience.
Of course, I'm a known pervert, so I use Emacs in Termux on an Androidphone to update my gemlog, some of the time.
