Hello all! Since this is my first post, it'll be mainly an introduction - not too interesting, but hopefully good to know! My name is Octifer, and I'm an artist, writer, and programmer. I specifically love drawing and writing about dragons, cats, and dragon cats, but often just any sort of fantasy. I have two wonderful, adorable, silly cats: Peach and Bowser, who both live up to their names.
A lot of my posts will be either writing or art, and some of it world building for said writing and art. I do a lot of stories in different universes, although recently I've been making a lot of short stories in the same universes; namely, a story in a world of dragons and another in a world where there are humans and human-adjacent elementals. Some will probably be journals or other more real-life stories, however. These often change, and I may abandon them at some point, but I hope to keep updating them regularily!
As for my art, a lot of it that I will be putting here will be my digital art, but occasionally I'll also post some of my more traditional art as well. Most of that will be just pencil, but occasionally I make pieces with markers, paint, and/or pen. About 90% of my drawings are either dragons or sphinxes (which I have become obsessed with after Morgana introduced me to them). My sphinx drawings aren't that great yet, but they're more for practice of certain elements that I've always found hard, such as human faces, feathers, and occasionally foreshortening.
