[US and de Pol: boundaries]
@futurebird I voted other, because I’m not in the US. In 2016 I had an American coworker, I think he didn’t vote (would’ve been counted in Hawaii, so whatever). He once started with the “but Hillary is bad” thing, but our reactions made it clear that we wouldn’t tolerate Trumpism.
I’ve been lucky so far, that no one I have contact with directly is voting for the right wing German AfD, as far as I can tell. I was worried about my father for some time, because he’s frustrated with politicians (who isn’t?), but he also agrees that they are dangerous. All my coworkers and friends are somewhere in a spectrum left of the social democrats.
