60s cars are actually repairable. Smallish ones, retrofit with a Duratec and transmission. Not electric obviously but a decent compromise.
I would do this if I could afford it. Probably 10k. I have the skills. Donor need to be a rear drive car. Eg small Ford pickup.
My daily driver is a 1960 Rambler American, with the tiny flathead six. With evaporative emissions and electronic carburetor.
