[Covid]
@makeworld I get good faith vibes from this question, so yes, I can elaborate on my viewpoint. :)
To me, I think the biggest thing is that Long COVID is so devastating: effects like lasting damage to virtually any organ, brain fog, chronic fatigue (me), sleep disorders, blood clotting, all kinds of dysautonomic & neurological dysfunction, & more.
There is so much evidence of these effects, and I know first hand (myself & others in my life) how debilitating Long COVID can be.
You ask what the criteria for "over" is, but alas, I do not have a clear-cut answer. Your question suggests to me that you dislike masking: fair! So do I. And yet, when both I and others mask, my chances of worsening my body's condition falls.
Long COVID is nowhere near the same as getting a seasonal cold, as I understand it.
What is your viewpoint?
