It seems that for a long time now people have been circling the hot kettle when it comes to exploring various social web (protocol-level) innovations, but are in a wait-and-see who starts cooking, and whether they like the meal. Various cool things have started but stalled and could be inspiring input. Like FeatherPub for instance.
