Except locking-in your customers being a big financial benefit, what is the reason for gaming consoles to exist nowadays? The hardware is, basically, identical. The difference between #Windows and #Xbox OS is minimal. Also, #PlayStation (FreeBSD) and #LinuxGaming have a not-so-diffent OS core so it boils down to DirectX vs Vulkan vs PlaystationAPI.
