I remember diving into this when I was young, for SF reasons.
It's a bit tricky because the ability to retain an atmosphere is actually a function of escape velocity, not surface gravity.
And they're not proportional. I think (escape velocity)/(surface gravity) goes as radius? IIRC.
So your mini-Earth probably needs even higher gravity (possible if it's mostly iron) in order to meet the escape velocity requirement.
